Psalm 24

The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? Those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who do not lift up their souls to what is false, and do not swear deceitfully. They will receive blessing from the Lord, and vindication from the God of their salvation.

Such is the company of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.” (Psalm 24:1-6)

Immersing ourself in the wonders of nature helps us to connect with the Spirit of God, who creates and holds all things in being. I find that being by the ocean helps me to make this connection with the awesome beauty and power of the Creator. A retreat by the sea can do wonders for the soul.

Jesus replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. (Matthew 8:26)

  1. Another stellar collection, Fr. Ron. The skies are the scene stealers in almost all of these photos. Looking forward to our visit in a few weeks.
