The beginning and the end

After posting weekly since the fall of 2017, eight years and a total of 423 posts, I have decided that this will be my last post. If you have not been with me from the beginning, you might want to check out my earlier posts. They should remain accessible for a while.

I’ve enjoyed reflecting on scripture and sharing my photography with you. I’ll continue to make pictures, but in a more leisurely fashion, without having to focus on producing a post each week.

It’s been a fun run, and I appreciate your viewership. Happy New Year, and I wish you all many blessings in the months and years ahead.

Gratefully,

Fr. Ron Perry, SJ

“I will bless the Lord at all times; praise shall be always in my mouth. My soul will glory in the Lord that the poor may hear and be glad. Magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.” (Psalm 34:1-4)

Thank you, Ron, for all these posts. I love them and they lead me to a special place inside. They actually take me back to the retreat I made with you at Eastern Point several years back. I was in a hard place and you directed me with gentleness and poetry. I still frequently reread Denise Levertov’s To Live in the Mercy of God. I’m guessing that’s where I’m always meant to be! Perhaps some day I will have the good fortune of being with you again on a retreat in Gloucester. Until then, I will keep rereading Spiritphoto posts–I’ve saved just about all of them! Blessings in the New Year! Sister Esther
