In the fold–Post #400

There are times in our life when we stray from the flock. Jesus has that covered. Remember the story of the shepherd who leaves the flock behind to go after the sheep that has wandered away and become lost.

Jesus is all about bringing people back into the fold, back into relationship with him and with the community of believers. We’re not perfect, but the point is we don’t have to be. We are a Church of forgiveness, and we are loved as we are.

Let’s listen to the words of Scripture: “Jesus said: My sheep hear my voice: I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand.”

This is good news!

“I am the good shepherd, says the Lord; I know my sheep, and mine know me.” (John 10:14)

Fireworks. Better late than never.

    Fr. Ron,

Great pics. I can almost hear the accompanying sound effects! As always the summer is flying by.

    All best,
